Sophia Theresia Eisenbach was born in Wiesbaden, Germany. She studied Primary School Education at the University of Patras, Greece. Being bilingual herself, she has always set her academic and teaching focus on bilingualism. Since 2016 she is part of the teaching staff at Neue Schule Athen, where she is responsible for the CLIL programme. She teaches in all grades of the primary school (1st to 6th) using CLIL with German as a foreign language in many different subjects. In some of them she also teaches using CLIL within the method of co-teaching (TANDEM).
Soultana Manesi is a graduate of the University of Athens, Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education. She has worked as a kindergarten teacher in private and public kindergartens. She holds a M.Ed. from Roehampton University (London) and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. Her research interests mainly focus upon Early Childhood Education as well as Specific Learning Disabilities. She is also certified teacher of four languages: English, German, Italian and Spanish. Since 2014, she is part of the teaching staff at “Neue Schule Athen”.
